Restoration workshops, storerooms, studios, rooms being (re)fitted, documentation centre… The Royal Military Museum will soon hold no secrets for you! Tonight, discover the behind-the-scenes work and the multitude of jobs that are essential to the daily operation of a museum that conserves 12 centuries of military history, from medieval armour to the F-16 fighter plane. Thematic guided tours of the permanent collections will also be offered! Free registration upon arrival at the museum.

EXTRA-MUROS: Go exclusively behind the scenes of the Cinquantenaire and visit the incredible Moulding Workshop of the Art & History Museum, the aircraft restoration workshops of the Royal Army Museum and the art restoration workshops of the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA). Duration of the tour: 2 hours (visit to the temporary exhibition Before Time Began not included).
